The subject is a painting of Lewis H Latimer and Mark Dean. Lewis H Latimer worked with Alexander Bell to create and fill the telephone invention patent. He later invented a method for producing a more durable carbon filament, making incandescent light bulbs became more affordable and practical for consumers. This new method was an improvement from the works of Thomas Edison whom he had worked closely. Mark Dean is the co-inventor of the PC and coloured computer screens released in 1981.
